Terms of Use

TaskPacer (taskpacer.com)

Effective Date: April 11, 2026

Last Updated: April 11, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to TaskPacer. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TaskPacer website, web application, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using TaskPacer, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms are designed to be clear and fair. We use plain language wherever possible. If anything is unclear, please contact us at privacy@taskpacer.com.

2. What TaskPacer Does

TaskPacer is a free web application that helps you generate a personalized AI automation roadmap for your role and organization.

The process:

  1. You enter your job title and answer 3 brief questions about your workflow, comfort with automation, and automation goals
  2. Our AI partner Claude (by Anthropic) analyzes your input and generates a customized roadmap
  3. You receive a report containing:
  • The top 5 automation opportunities for your role
  • Estimated time savings and ROI projections
  • Tool recommendations to implement each automation
  • A detailed roadmap with implementation steps

Optional features:

  • You may provide your email address to receive product updates via our newsletter
  • You may join our waitlist to be notified when paid plans and implementation support become available

3. Important: AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

3.1 Nature of Recommendations

Your automation roadmap is generated by artificial intelligence (Claude API, developed by Anthropic). The roadmap is not created or reviewed by human experts. It is provided for informational purposes only.

TaskPacer:

  • Is not professional advice of any kind
  • Does not guarantee the time savings, ROI, or implementation feasibility estimates
  • Does not constitute legal, financial, accounting, human resources, medical, or healthcare advice
  • Makes no warranty that the recommended tools and workflows are appropriate for your specific circumstances

3.2 Use Recommendations Carefully

The estimates in your roadmap (time savings, ROI, implementation effort) are indicative projections only. They are based on general patterns and your inputs, not on a detailed analysis of your business. Your actual results will depend on many factors including your specific workflows, team capacity, existing systems, and implementation execution.

Always:

  • Validate recommendations with domain experts before implementation
  • Verify tool availability and compatibility with your current systems
  • Test automations in a non-critical environment first
  • Measure actual impact after implementation to compare against projections

3.3 Tool Recommendations and Third-Party Services

TaskPacer recommends specific automation tools and platforms. These recommendations:

  • Are based on information available at the time of generation
  • May change as tools are updated, deprecated, or discontinued
  • Are not endorsements or guarantees of quality or reliability
  • Do not account for your specific security, compliance, or integration requirements

You are responsible for evaluating third-party tools independently, reviewing their terms of service, privacy policies, and security practices before using them.

4. Important: Disclaimer for Regulated Professions

4.1 Regulated Industries

If you work in any of the following fields, please read this section carefully:

  • Law and legal services
  • Accounting and financial services
  • Human resources and employment law
  • Healthcare, medical services, or patient care
  • Financial planning, investment advice, or wealth management
  • Insurance

4.2 Regulatory Compliance Responsibility

In regulated professions, some automation and workflow changes may be subject to:

  • Jurisdiction-specific laws and regulations
  • Professional licensing requirements and codes of conduct
  • Client confidentiality and data protection obligations
  • Compliance certifications and audit requirements
  • Professional liability and insurance considerations

TaskPacer recommendations are not legal, financial, medical, or compliance advice.

If you work in a regulated profession, you must:

  1. Consult with a qualified professional in your field (lawyer, accountant, compliance officer, etc.) before implementing any workflow changes recommended by TaskPacer
  2. Obtain appropriate professional guidance on whether AI-assisted processes comply with your professional obligations and applicable law
  3. Verify that any third-party tools meet your regulatory and compliance requirements
  4. Take full responsibility for ensuring that any implementations comply with your industry regulations

TaskPacer assumes no liability for regulatory violations, professional misconduct, compliance failures, or damages arising from implementation of AI recommendations in regulated contexts.

5. No Professional Advice

TaskPacer is not a substitute for professional advice. The Service does not provide:

  • Legal advice
  • Tax or accounting advice
  • Financial or investment advice
  • Medical or healthcare advice
  • HR or employment law advice
  • Business consulting
  • Risk management guidance

If you need professional advice in any area, consult a qualified professional (attorney, accountant, financial advisor, doctor, HR specialist, etc.).

6.2 Pricing Section and Waitlist

We display information about potential future paid plans (Personal plan at $25/month, Implementation Session at $179 one-time).

Important: The pricing section is a market validation mechanism only. Clicking a pricing call-to-action (CTA) does not charge your account and does not create an obligation.

When you click a pricing CTA, you:

  • Join our waitlist for notifications about future paid plans
  • Authorize us to send you emails about product updates and offerings
  • Do not create a contract, agree to pay, or authorize any charge

You will receive an email notification before any paid subscription begins. You will have the opportunity to review terms and authorize payment before any charge is made.
